The product, in the report: Serta sleeptogo Elite mattress protector treated with 3M Scotchguard
As a result of purchasing a new Serta Perfect Sleeper Linden Pond Firm mattress along with the Serta sleeptogo Elite Mattress Protector treated with 3M Scotchguard after 3 nights Sun, Mon, Tues starting 2/18/18 then off the bed by Wed 2/21/18 I had developed the severe rash over 80 percent of my body. Have not been on the mattress since Wed 2/21/18. I do not suspect the Serta Perfect Sleeper Linden Pond Firm mattress. Diagnosis is Morbilliform Hemorrhagic Rash and have seen 2 doctors a 1 ER visit within the last week and have been put on a 12 day [REDACTED] and also prescribed [REDACTED]. I believe all evidence leads to a severe reaction to the [REDACTED] treatment of the mattress pad. I think if I would have purchased the sleeptogo everyday with no Scotchguard I would have been OK. Due to the unpredictable reactions of interactions between individuals and exposure to chemical agents I report this incident to raise awareness to those considering purchase of the Serta sleeptogo Elite Mattress Protector treated with 3M Scotchguard as a potential risk as a result of my experience.
