The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: cal king Serta iComfort Genius memory foam with cooling gel. 81% polyurethane foam infused with gel beads and 19% polyurethane foam pad

I purchased a Serta iComfort Genius from Sears March 1, 2013 from Sears. As required by Serta a mattress pad also has to be in place as well or you void your warranty. Which I did, I always do on every mattress I buy. I changed the decor in my room and purchased new color palate bedding. When I lifted my mattress to exchange bedskirt, I was horrified what I discovered. Mold was growing on the underneath of the mattress and on my bedskirt and boxspring. I have unexplained inflammation on my lung and my breathing has started to become very short and tightening when I exercise! I have doctors appointment tomorrow for new chest x-ray and to discuss my newly found culprit, I believe.
