The product, in the report: Queen size sheet set purchased at Target. Brand Room essentials Jersey Sheets. Made in Pakistan. 50 cotton, 50 poly from PET bottles.
I purchased a size Queen Room Essentials Style bedsheet set from Target. Color blue. Sku 0621806668 from Target recirpt. UPC 490621806684. Make in Pakistan. 50% cotton, 50% poly from recycled PET bottles. Machine Wash , tumble dry. I unpackaged the items and washed the items as directed on thier own and placed in my dryer on regular/medium heat. After 10-15 minutes we noticed a burning smell throughout the house and noticed smoke emiting from the dryer door. Upon opening we saw smoke in the drum. We realized the smoke was contained to the drum. After shutting off dryer, unplugging the dryer and removing sheets we saw singe mark on the interior of the dryer drum. The sheets reeked of a burning, melty, chemical smell. We immediately placed the sheets outside. We inspected the dryer lines and lint trap, but we do not believe that we found any evidence of smoke or fire there or at the electrical panel of the dryer or our outlet. The smoke and smell were contained to the drum.
