This product has the risk of Sudden Infant Death because it is a pillow that is used for infants to be placed to sleep on their stomachs. This practice of putting an infant to sleep on their stomach has been proven to increase the risk of Sudden Infant Death and is 100% unsafe. I am the Fetal & Infant Child Fatality Review Nurse Coordinator for Anne Arundel County Maryland, Department of Health. We promote SAFE SLEEP and have had several infant deaths related to infants sleeping on their stomachs with blankets, pillows, or anything else in their sleep environment.
