Hurt, care not known Made Apr 1, 2026, sent to the company Apr 6, 2026, published by CPSC Apr 20, 2026
The product, in the report: TEMPUR-Breeze Pro Pillow, it is a king pillow, it is made out of foam with a gel pad on top.
We purchased Tempur-pedic pillows on February 23, 2026. These pillows came with a smell a strong chemical smell that has not dissipated even after keeping a fan on in the window open for over three days. The smell has only gotten worse. My family and I have gotten headaches, nausea, sore throats, and even vomiting. I have reached out to the escalations department at Tempur-pedic. [REDACTED], the manager clearly stated that Tempur-pedic is not concerned nor does not deal with concerns regarding health hazards, public health, or any other health issues otherwise. I have spoken to [REDACTED]. And other representatives at Tempur-pedic. I have also reached out to them via the [REDACTED] to where they continue to deny any wrongdoing. And any offgassing and any other public concerns are not related to Tempur-pedic or their products. They refuse to take responsibility and refuse to take any action. Offgassing, public health, public, hazard, health, nausea, dizziness, and any other concerns tied to health regarding the offgassing of their products is not their priority. They continue to deny and we are out 600 dollars.

Seen by a doctor or nurse Made Feb 12, 2020, sent to the company Feb 21, 2020, published by CPSC Mar 13, 2020
The product, in the report: Tempur pedic symphony pillow and tempur cloud pro pillow order number [REDACTED]
I purchased two tempur pedic pillows (symphony pillow, and tempur cloud pro pillow)and they have such a strong chemical reaction that caused a severe allergic reaction around my eyes. I had to take antibiotics and eye drops and [REDACTED] to help with these pillows. I tried letting the pillows air out but every time I went to use them my eyes would break out.i would get infection by my eye and have to take [REDACTED], eye prescription eye drops, and antibiotics to clear it up. When I would stop using the pillows it would clear up after the treatments. If I used the pillows, it would come right back again. I contacted the company via email and was told to call them. I’m concerned these products have something that is causing harm to people. Asks if it had fish ingredients since I am deathly allergic to seafood.
I have pictures of the reaction

Hurt, no treatment Made Jan 3, 2012, sent to the company Jan 11, 2012, published by CPSC Feb 2, 2012
The product, in the report: Tempur-Pedic TEMPUR Plush Pillow Dog
This tempurpedic pillow is cute as can be but the noxious odor it gives off is extremely irritating to the eyes and mucus membranes. Even from several feet away it is very strong and transfers to anything that touches it (skin, clothing, hair). It was given to my 1 1/2 year old son as a christmas gift from his well intentioned grandmother, however I do not allow him to go near it for the toxic chemicals it is giving off, not to mention that being made of polyurethane (98%) as it says on the tag makes it a huge safety concern. Should it ever come in contact with a flame or heat source the Hydrogen Cyanide it would give off may kill my entire family. If adults want to subject themselves to this material I suppose that is their choice, however it should not be used in children’s products.
