She began sleeping on the one pillow and noticed that she progressively had a feeling of slight lack of well being but she dismissed it. Around September 6, 2016 she was visiting with a friend and stated that she didn’t feel well at all and so she went home. Wednesday, September 7 and Thursday September 8, 2016 the caller was taking her blood pressure and noticed that her blood pressure was rising. She is a registered nurse and so took her BP Medication but by Friday, September 9, 2016 her blood pressure 227/115 which prompted her to drive to the emergency room. She was kept at St. Mary’s hospital emergency room from 9:30PM on Friday until 10:30AM on Friday to bring her blood pressure back to normal. She was seen by her physician September 12, 2016 and was provided with additional blood pressure medicine which did not bring her pressure down. She went to emergency care September 12, 2016 and received a change in blood pressure medicine again. She returned home and made no changes until Thursday, September 15th, 2016 when she read labels on the pillow instructing her to wash them before using them. She washed the pillows but has not used them again and her health has been improving progressively since she stopped use of the pillows. Her blood pressure has been lowering and her doctor has taken her off of the additional blood pressure medicines. She has not contacted the manufacturer because she states that they are located in China.
