Hurt, no treatment Made May 13, 2013, sent to the company May 20, 2013, published by CPSC Jun 11, 2013
The product, in the report: Soft-Tex Memory Foam Pillow. Style: Classic Comfort. Size: 22x 14x 4.7 inches. Registry No. PA-28024(CN).
I recently purchased a soft-tex memory form pillow. I let the pillow air outside of its package for 72 hours before using it to remove the strong chemical smell. I have slept on the pillow for 6 nights and after this short time, I have discovered chemical burns (in the same pattern as the outer cover of the pillow) on the left side of my face. The burns are obvious--I have already had many members of my family and co-workers point out the burns. The package of this pillow did not contain any warnings regarding possible burns or other potential side effects as a result of the chemicals. After having this pillow in my home for 10 days, the chemical smells remains.
