Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.
Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: It’s a pillow it’s a pet. Made for children to cuddle and play with.
I purchased a Thomas the Tank Engine pillow pet for my son who sleeps with it every night. He has a specialty bed that looks like a cabin and the mattress is on the floor. He has a small night light in there because it gets dark. Last night his pillow pet hit the night light bulb and got some serious melt damage. I was shocked because one would think a product made made for a child to sleep with would be flame retardent and not melt or burn. I think a product that burns/melts from a nightlight bulb maybe is not safe for a child to sleep with. Pillow pets are sold for children to sleep and cuddle with. I shudder to think of the damage to a child should there be a home fire.
I have the pillow pet and the night light bulb.
