The product, in the report: Neck Pillow Organic Buckwheat Hulls Scented with Lavender Buds, Soft Fill Product description This travel/neck pillow is made with the softest fleece fabric and is filled with organic buckwheat hulls and lavender buds. It weighs just over 1.6 lbs and measures 33’’ tip to tip, 6’’ deep at the neck, 4’’ wide at the base of the arms, 4’’ deep overall and the neck space stretches to 7’’ due to the flexibility of the fleece. These hand-made high quality pillows may vary in size slightly. Great for children and adults, this pillow cradles flopping heads at home, in the stroller, in the car, on an airplane or anywhere. Kids love the scrunchy sound and huggable feel of buckwheat hulls and fleece. Buckwheat hulls allow constant air circulation through the pillow, keeping you cool and dry. Care must be given if heating hulls as they dry out over time. Those with allergies to feathers or synthetics will appreciate buckwheat hulls’ hypo-allergenic nature. Unlike other pillow fillings, buckwheat hulls do not compress under pressure. This reduces stress on your head and neck. Best of all, our buckwheat is 100% organic, natural and eco-friendly. This pillow is soft-fill and has fewer buckwheat hulls which makes for a softer feel behind your neck or the small of your back. I purchased the pillow on Amazon.com on January 5, 2018 from a vendor called TakeTwoPillows. While I do not think there is anything necessarily corrupt or fraudulent about TakeTwoPillows.com, this particular product is dangerously defective. The pillow is called “Neck Pillow Organic Buckwheat Hulls Scented with Lavender Buds, Soft Fill “ . The amazon product page for this pillow is here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007PCC4ZA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This is a Youtube Playlist showing how the above pillow caused a fire in my home: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBEoLcEeONweeBkkzawWgCYTIOb0eGqcc THIS PILLOW IS DANGEROUS AND SHOULD NOT BE SOLD ANYWHERE. HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED: Put pillow in microwave Took pillow out of microwave Put pillow around neck Enjoyed the feeling of pillow around neck, no burning, no overheating Got in bed for the night Decided feet were cold Took pillow off neck and placed at bottom of the bed to head feet Enjoyed feet feeling heated Acknowledged restlessness Got up and got on computer in different room Smelled something in bedroom Came back to see smoke coming up from the place on the bed where pillow was Threw back comforter to see pillow had smoldered up through the comforter and Down into the futon mattress The mattress smoldered and caught fire Luckily I pulled it out to my balcony before it caught fire. LET ME REITERATE THAT THE PILLOW, DIRECTLY FROM THE MICROWAVE, WAS PLACED AROUND MY NECK WITH NO DISCOMFORT. If the pillow is not too hot to be applied to skin, how in the world is the consumer suppose to know that the pillow will, without additional microwave time, grow hot enough to smolder through a mattress and cause a fire?
