The product, in the report: QUQIYSO 34oz. French Press Coffee maker copper color
I am a Nurse and have a safety concern on a french coffee press I purchased from Amazon. There were fine loose wires sticking off the filter screens. These can break off and cause a perforation of the esophagus, stomach, or bowel, that can lead to a medical emergency, injury or even death if these pieces of wires are ingested. One of the fine wires I discovered after using it and washing it was stuck in the filter screen lose. This could have been ingested.
It is made in China, the only information I can tell you is that it is a QUQIYSO FRENCH PRESS COFFEE MAKER 34 OZ. There is no company address on the box or on the instruction booklet on the inside of the box. They only list an e-mail address to contact them directly before contacting Amazon for any questions, missing parts, broken or damaged product or for customer support. The e-mail address they give you to contact them is [REDACTED].
