The product, in the report: The Whistling Tea Kettle, 060 50 50, Style53FNC500KSL Manufacturer/importer/private labeler: Kohl’s
Kohl’s Dept. Store 1255 Coolidge Hwy. Troy, Michigan 48084
The Whistling Tea Kettle, 060 50 50, Style53FNC500KSL, is an unsafe product. We had been using it for a short period of time when the pin holding the whistle and spout cap lift lever onto the handle gradually worked loose. When it became halfway out a very dangerous, unstable condition suddenly resulted for the person trying to pour a hot kettle of boiling water. (The kettle is unusable and even more dangerous without the pin.)
Thank you for your attention.
Sincerely,
