The product, in the report: Imusa 9-Cup Coffee Percolator
I purchased a Imusa 9-Cup Coffee Percolator from my local Kmart about 2 or 3 months ago. After a month or 2 I noticed the clear plastic viewing bulb on top of the percolator had melted.
I know that some plastics release chemicals when heated. Some of these chemicals can be harmful to people.
Previous to this last percolator I had the same model, where the plastic coffee basket had melted. In this incident I forgot the percolator on the stove and it overheated. my fault bet glad it did not catch on fire and burn down my house.
Thank You, [REDACTED]

The product, in the report: Imusa Aluminum Coffee Maker in Orange 6 Cup
I purchased 6 espresso pots by the brand of Imusa. This morning the last incident happened similar to the first two. I make my coffee in the pot as usual. All of a sudden the top portion of the pot blew off and their was coffee and coffee grinds all over my kitchen ceiling and walls. If I had been close to the stove at that point it would have hit me in the face or head. This is the 3rd time this has happened with the same type and brand of espresso coffee pot.
