The product, in the report: Farberware 2.5 qt. Porcelain Enamel Tea Kettle
1. Farberware tea pot: has 2 nearly impossible-to-remove paper labels glued to bottom of pot that would not come off until I used [REDACTED] and a razor blade. 2. Once thoroughly cleaned, I filled it with water, put the electric stove on medium heat and, when the water came to a boil, NO WHISTLE sounded and BOILING WATER LEAKED FROM THE LID ALL OVER THE ELECTRIC STOVETOP. I am glad I was not electrocuted while toweling boiling water from the stovetop and that I wasn’t burned. This thing is dangerous and users of the tea kettle are in danger of being hurt!

The product, in the report: Farberware stainless steel Teapot Q20C
I have been scalded 3 times now using a Farberware Teapot. Today when I picked it up from the stove before I opened the spout the lid blew off and the steam scalded my hand so intensely I dropped the pot on the kitchen floor.

Risk of scalding.
Farberware Luna 10 Cup (2.5 Quart) Stovetop Tea Kettle UPC 12127 01349.
04/05/2021 - Used by me, adult male, to boil water for French Press coffee pot. When the water reached the boiling point, rather than whistling, the pot made a sputtering sound and I found boiling water shooting about one foot through the whistle with a shower of boiling water about a foot in diameter.
04/06/2021 - I carefully measured 8 cups (2 quarts) of water into the 10 cup (2 -1/2 quart) pot, made sure the lid was tightly snapped into place, and again started the boiling process. I placed a pan under the spout to catch any spillage and I stood close by to observe. When the water reached the boiling point this time, a straight stream of boiling water came out through the whistle while boiling water also splashed out all around the whistle. In addition, boiling water leaked out around the lid. There was water all over the top of the stove in addition to what went into the pan. This measured just shy of 3/4 cup. I remeasured the water still in the pot, and it was 7 cups.

No one hurt Made Feb 6, 2020, sent to the company Mar 5, 2020, published by CPSC Mar 19, 2020
The product, in the report: Farberware stovetop 8-cup Percolator, that has a lid with a glass knob. I do have videos of what the percolator looks like. .I have the manual, it has no: serial number, UPC code, date manufactured or manufacturer date code. I thew out the box and there was no shipping information in there, just the manual and the percolator. It has a stainless steel base and the number Q19C on the bottom with the name Farberware.
On January 18, 2020 - Online, I purchased an 8-cup/ Stove top Farberware percolator. I received the product on January 24, 2020. I used the pot about three times. On the third time, while cleaning the percolator a piece of glass fell into my hand, I was shocked. The percolator lid has a glass knob. The glass knob had some how cracked in half and most of the pieces fell into the part where you put your coffee grounds to brew. I reported the incident to the manufacturer and asked for another knob that would not crack or become subjected to cracking so easily. I told them I didn’t know how it happened. The glass is extremely sharp and the knob was in small pieces. They asked for a full picture of the percolator, I did a video, of the whole pot and every part I received including the bottom of the pot as per their request. I received an acknowledgement, they said they would send me another glass knob, my request for another type of knob was ignored and I felt better if I reported this. I’m an senior citizen and disable. The incidence could have been worse. Let me know if you need anything else. I did take a video and pictures but the pictures had poor lighting. I just sent the videos.
