Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: 3 Quart Coffee Pot with glass decanter that holds up to 12 cups of coffee. It has a black color one- piece open top lid and handle. Product Name: Table ware Brand Name: Coffee Pro Manufacturer Part Number: CP27000 Manufacturer: Origional Gourmet Food Company, Inc. Manufacturer Website address: www.ogfcstore.com

Employee was in the process of pouring hot coffee from a coffee pot into her cup. The glass decanter separated from the plastic lid/handle component. The decanter fell to the floor breaking and splashing hot coffee on the employee. This pot and two others were purchased last week from a local office supply company. These pots were new and an accident such as this would suggest a possible defect with the pots that can cause additional accidents and injuries.
