  1. No one hurt

Made May 10, 2021, sent to the company May 13, 2021, published by CPSC May 27, 2021

The product, in the report: 9 foot string of 10 outdoor lights with round incandescent bulbs type G40 for indoor/ outdoor use

Product “Project 62 String Lights” 009-11-2848-R00 IDC-001229-01-019-0158 (i.e., 10 lights) when accidently dropped a few feet onto wood deck while installing, 8 of 10 bulbs shattered into hundreds of tiny glass pieces that dispersed in all directions over about 3 yards. This was done by my adult daughter while I watched. This would be a hazard to eyes for anyone near by. There were no injuries. Required about a half hour to vacuum up all the tiny pieces. Never seen anything like this before from broken bulbs. Appears to be the result of the glass being very thin compared with other outdoor lights such as Christmas lights. Product was purchased at Target and was manufactured in China. This has not been reported to Target.
