The product, in the report: Gamer Neon Sign color: white/blue room decor, light for boys room, adjust brightness, thats all the seller has, there is no other description for this product, the product came in a thin rectangle box. Appears thin, cheap plastic, the tubing on the light is plastic rubber over live wires, it shocks and flickers if works at all, the Seller is ACTYL and there store front for Amazon is CULOIS. The light is considered Amazons choice for its price, there are some reviews that have pretty similar issues as we have. The product was $32.99 the color was white/blue room decor hanging light for wall, the seller ACTYL. This seller was notified and has not been cooperating at all, they were silent and would not reach out until Amazon reached out on JAN 21, 2026 and told them to reach out to me and give me a refund. They reached out and wanted photos or they were not going to help me, that was after the fact that amazon told them they had to give me a refund, I also reported the seller and product numerous times before they reached out too just a very non cooperative seller, lacks remorse and compassion.and no refund
I bought this LED gaming controller light from Amazon.com sold by a seller ACTYL and the order was fulfilled by AMAZON. I bought this light during the November months for Christmas for my 7 year old son. When it came in it appear to be nicely packaged, it came im a brown thin rectangle box, i actually was under the impression that this light was made from glass bulbs because thats what it looked like to me, so i took extra cautious steps to care and wrap it up. My son opened Christmas Day, and kind of just placed in on his dresser, as for this was a hanging decor gaming light, it came with a metal chain for handing purposes. We pluggged the light in, and noticed instantly it got hot, due to thin wires and it being a usb plug in, I thought well maybe it was a plug in that i used, because this product was not supplied a plug in. So we just unplugged the product days later taking care of things in his room i noticed the light and i picked it, i discovered what appeared to be glass bulbs was indeed a rubber like white tubing and it was pulled out from the light. My son said mom, be careful when you plug it in because it shocks you. And i could see all these tiny scrunched up little wires inside this product, and my first thought was why would you even use rubber, a plastic substance that could melt to cover wire. Then the wires plugging this in are thin and exposed no covering over those as well, the white adjuster is made from very cheap plastic, there is no information on the product, its appears to be very cheaply made, but very decieved upon the appearance of the purchase because it looked good when it came in. But i did not examine it I just openned the box and glanced, the reason for the wait was because my son was waiting for his dad to hang it, it needed the chain to be drilled into the wall, well we just discovered this whole light was a hazard. This light could have caused a fire in my sons bedroom. So i reached out to the seller ACTYL that was on Jan 18th/19th they would not talk to me or even respond, i replied with message after message telling them that there light was a fire hazard, i even reported the seller and product to Amazon numerous times, nothing no response from the seller at all. Finally Jan 21, having enough I contacted the Chat customer service through Amazon, the agent reached out to the seller and urged them to contact me with a full refund about 2 hours later i was approached by the sellers requesting photos and if i did not supply those photos they were not going to help me, so i supplied the photos, and i even supplied the screen shots of the amazon agent telling me where they instructed the seller to give me a full refund, this seller has straight refused to even respond to the proof they were sent. And they had no intentions on even contacting me in regards to this. This product flickers, wires are exposed, and it shocked my son. It cost me $32.99 no refund no resolution, to taking responsibility or any remorse nothing.
