  1. No one hurt

Made Jul 26, 2026, sent to the company Jul 29, 2026, published by CPSC Aug 12, 2026

The product, in the report: product name: Neisouf 3D Cotton Thundercloud LED Light, DIY RGB+IC Chasing Ceiling Cloud LED Lights for Room Decor 17ft Link: https://www.amazon.com/Neisouf-Thundercloud-Chasing-Cloud-Lights/dp/B0H1ZS8WTB [REDACTED] We Reached out to the seller regarding missing safety certifications and product behavior, but seller failed to respond. and The seller also claimed their cotton was flame retardant, but it wasn’t.

On 23 July, as a primary school teacher, I installed a newly purchased LED light strip set in my classroom. The light strip was covered with a layer of cotton batting to create a decorative cloud lighting effect. Immediately upon completing the installation and powering on the device, the light strip began sparking. The sparks instantly ignited the adjacent cotton batting, causing an immediate open flame. The fire left a large, visible scorch mark on the classroom ceiling before we were able to quickly extinguish it. The incident occurred in an active primary school classroom in the presence of young children. Had this electrical ignition occurred during a nap break, after hours, or in a residential bedroom, it can be resulted in major structural damage or loss of life. Safe risk light, We have to act immediately. life is the most important thing i tthink!

  2. No one hurt

Made Jun 29, 2026, sent to the company Jul 2, 2026, published by CPSC Jul 17, 2026

The product, in the report: products name, USB 3D Cotton Thundercloud LED Light, DIY RGB+IC Chasing Ceiling Cloud Lights with APP and Remote Control for Room Decor (17ft, Multicolor) ASIN B0GRGWBHSK On installation and initial demonstration of a Neisouf ceiling childrens night light, the integrated LED light strip abruptly malfunctioned and violently burst during normal operation. The failure occurred immediately after installation, during standard use conditions with no abnormal handling or misuse. The event resulted in a sudden electrical of the product, consistent with a potential manufacturing defect.

I recently installed a Neisouf ceiling night light for my childs room. During the demonstration period right after installation, the LED light strip suddenly exploded. The explosion caused injury to my hand. Fortunately, my child was not harmed. The product appears to have a serious electric or manufacturing defect that created a safety hazard, including risk of fire, explosion, and bodily injury.

(08/04/2026) As a mother, I am writing to report a severe consumer safety violation and an unethical attempt to evade regulatory oversight. A hazardous kids night light, which recently exploded and caused hand injury, was removed following safety issues on July 2, 2026 report NO.20260629-AEAB1-2147314770 on SaferProducts.gov However, in Mid July, the company relisted the exact same unsafe product under a new SKU to continue selling it. It is shocking and unacceptable that a business, completely devoid of corporate mission, and social responsibility, put countless families and kids in harm way solely for profit. Brand: Neisouf Original Removal Date: July 2, 2026 Listing :https://www.amazon.com/Neisouf-Thundercloud-LED-Light-Cloud/dp/B0GRGWBHSK Original ASIN: B0GRGWBHSK New Listing:https://www.amazon.com/Neisouf-Thundercloud-LED-Light-Cloud/dp/B0H1ZS8WTB New ASIN:B0H1ZS8WTB Date Identified Relisted: 10 July 2026 I urge CPSC to take immediate enforcement action against this manufacturer for intentional non compliance and regulatory evasion, Issue an immediate recall and cease and desist order for the newly listed B0H1ZS8WTB.
