The Units AC adapter ruptured due to an unsafe electrical/thermal event inside the adapter. We heard a pop and then noticed a strong electrical odor coming from my daughter’s room about 20-30minutes after the popping sound. Upon investigation we found the KuLuner lighting strip not working and the adapter was hot with soot on the power strip and outer edge of the split open AC adapter case. After removing it from the outlet and on further inspection the internal printed circuit board was burnt and the internal case surface was burnt as well. A strong burnt electrical odor was detected from the adapter as well.
