The product, in the report: bar stools

(03/01/2018) The consumer stated that the industrial-size staples in the seat of the bar stool are sticking up. As soon as her son sat down on the stool, he was scratched on his bottom. The scratch is about 3 inches but the staple did not puncture his skin.

    No medical attention was required.

The consumer stated that another one of the bar stools had to be replaced because the staples were sticking up in the seat of the product.

The consumer contacted the firm’s corporate office and was advised that they could not help her. She was referred to the place of purchase. After several calls to the store, the consumer had to send an email before she could get someone to help her. She sent the email on 3/8. The store offered to replace the bar stool.
