The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Buffalo Tools Molded Barstool, Polished fiberglass stools, 360-degree swivel, weight capacity 330 pounds.Model number BS103BLKSET

On February 15, 2012, a fiberglass barstool practically exploded as my son sat on it. The fiberglass seat shattered into pieces as the metal bar struck my son buttocks and private body parts. The weight capacity limit was 330 pounds, my son is 218 pounds.

I bought this product from Overstock.com. I immediately contacted Overstock and sent the pictures as per their request. Overstock has yet to get back to me, but I saw that they have marked this product as sold out. The pictures of the seat tell the whole story. I kept the stool and pieces for your inspection.
