The product, in the report: Frontgate Balencia Chaise Lounges Model Balencia
I visited a pool which had Frontgate Balencia Chaise Lounges. I moved the chaise lounge by pulling from the head of the chair and dragging it about 2 feet. When I let go of the chair, the chair dropped to the ground and landed on my big toe. It was extremely painful and my toe is bruised and may be broken.
The issue with this chair, is the legs are made to fold. When I pulled on the chair, the leg folded backwards so that it was no longer supporting the chair. The chairs are made to be stacked flat, so the legs can be folded inwards. There appears to be no way to lock the legs to prevent them from folding if it is pulled on. The chair was not broken as the same exact event happened to my son, but in his case, the chair landed on his shoe and did not injure his toe.
