While utilizing the patio chair as intended, six of the plastic slats experienced a catastrophic material failure at the point where the slats were attached to the aluminum tubing frame of the chair. These slats suddenly snapped and entirely under ordinary sitting weight, causing the chair to structurally collapse. As a direct result, I fell partway through the chair framework.
