The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Safety Edge and Corner Cushion Set

The submitter is reporting the product as posing a choking hazard. Her 13 month old son has bit off pieces of the cushion and she is concerned he may choke.

She indicated that he began biting the cushion a few months ago when he starting teething but he only left slight dents on the cushion. However, now he has bit off pieces of the cushion and she does not feel safe having it in her home. Thankfully her son did not choke on the pieces.

The submitter does not plan to contact the firm. She believes similar products made by different companies are also unsafe. She believes the concept of the product is not safe for children and it poses harm instead of protecting them.

The submitter believes she purchased the product from Amazon within the past year.
