The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: This is on Amazon. It is for baby proofing sharp corners. It is clear and small. Product Dimensions 6.5”L x 4.8”W x 1.5”. Unfortunately, it is small enough for a baby to choke.

I purchased CalMyotis: Baby Proofing Corner Protectors Guards - Furniture Edge Protector for Babies & Kids - Safety Guards & Cushions for Table, Desk, Crib, Fireplace, Corners & Edges | Clear, Safe | 18 Bumpers Pack on Amazon. At the bottom of the page it has a warning as a choking hazard. However, it is clearly advertised for babys and it even has baby in the title. We purchased it for baby proofing. It came off the edge of of of our furnitures (it comes with adhesive, but it can be removed or fall off). My baby started to choke and was unable to breathe when a side piece, that was used for baby proofing, came off and she put it in her mouth. My husband was there and removed it when he saw she wasnt breathing. She then vomited.
