  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Jan 2, 2012, sent to the company Jan 10, 2012, published by CPSC Jan 25, 2012

The product, in the report: Easy Riser 25” Air Bed w/ 4” Built-In Pillow & Pump Air Bed V402397 Specifications: •Made from vinyl and plastic •Weight capacity is 650 pounds •Instruction manual included •Keep away from heat •UL Approved Measurements: Full size: 74”L x 54”W x 25”H + 4” pillow (inflated), weighs 26 lbs. Queen size: 79”L x 58”W x 25”H + 4” pillow (inflated), weighs 29 lbs. Warranty: 90 day limited warranty.

I recently purchased the Easy Riser 25” Air Bed w/ 4” Built-In Pillow & Pump from shopnbc.com. /This air mattress is manufactured by Lion Sports. We received it 11/17/11 and used it the following weekend when we visited my son who is away to college. My son is now how visiting for winter break and has been using the air mattress in our spare room. This mattress is about waist high. My son went to get on it yesterday and it burst at the seam causing him to fall and hurt his knee. Luckily he will be ok but imagine if it were a child or elderly person. According to the manufactures specs this mattress can hold 650 lbs; my son is just over 200 lbs. We have not abused it in any way, he has only been sleeping on it at night. I tried to get either a replacement or some information regarding other peoples experience with the product but was told by shopnbc that I will have to take it up with the manufacturer.

Please look into where this product is flawed before someone is seriously hurt.

    Thank you,
