The product, in the report: memory foam mattress
I had chronic hives for 13 months before finding that it was caused from my Sealy memory foam mattress. I was then sold a Sealy spring mattress, which also caused hives. After talking to Sealy on the phone, it was determined that the common product was visco elastic, which is the memory foam. The spring mattress also contained a layer of memory foam, or visco elastic. I feel like it is the visco elastic, and not the fire retardent material, because I was just given some [REDACTED] flip flops, which also contains 8mm of memory foam in them. I broke out from them also, and I would guess that they don’t contain a fire retardant product, although that is just a guess.
