The product, in the report: Royal Collection palm mattress Prototype ID: Sleeping Beauty 268
Based on store owner’s promise that his palm mattress has not used chemical bond and has no chemical smelling, we bought the mattress on 12/15/2020. However when the mattress had been delivered and opened in the evening of 12/15/2021 we smelled the strong chemical volatile. The next day on 12/16, my wife called the seller, the store owner’s wife and asked for return due to the smelling (odour) but she refused. My wife called her again on 12/17 and asked for talking with her boss however she refused and said boss was not at store and she wanted us to keep it for few days more to let the odour to vapour. On the third day of 12/18 my wife went to store in person and asked to see her boss. The store owner’s wife lied and said that her boss was not at store. However a few minutes late, my wife found her boss was arguing with neighbor in the front of store for not shoveling snow on walk way so my wife asked the store owner again for returning and she even offered him $100 reduce in refund but he once more refused and gave my wife a tea set as a gift for compensation and said that chemical odour could go away if we could keep it for another few days more but my wife still insist in return and asked him for a plastic woven bag that can be used for wrapping up the palm mattress when return. On 12/19, my wife called the store owner again, this time he became mad immediately, roared over the phone, told us to sue him in court and then hanged up and late his wife even cut off [REDACTED] connection with us and rejected our phone calls. we have been experiencing watery eyes, burning sensations of eyes, nose and throat, coughing, wheezing, nausea, creaking and hoarse voice.
