The product, in the report: 8” Gel infused Memory Foam Queen Mattres
I removed the mattress cover on my gel infused memory foam mattress to wash it. After washing I put in back on mattress and skerritt on it that night. My partner & I woke up in the middle of the night itching all over. After an internet search, I realized the itching was due to the fiberglass in the removable mattress cover. I washed two loads of clothes before realizing it was fiberglass and now all of clothes, and washer and dryer are covered in it. It’s been a cleaning nightmare because it’s everywhere and sticks to everything. I have 2 young kids (2v months and 2 yrs), and I’m scared this is going to affect their health. I haven’t been able to sleep on the bed since because it’s so itchy. I’m afraid that it’s in the air and we’ve been inhaling these fibers. The mattress cover has a zipper with a large puller so one would easily think it’s safe to remove.
