  1. No one hurt

Made Aug 10, 2026, sent to the company Aug 14, 2026, published by CPSC Aug 31, 2026

The product, in the report: SLEEP100 King Mattress (12 Inch 5-Zone Deep Sleep Firm Hybrid) purchased through Amazon. 94.8 pounds. In amazon website is advertised as frequently returned item.

SLEEP100 King Mattress, 12 Inch 5-Zone Deep Sleep Firm Mattress sold by third-party seller SLEEP100 SYNERGY LIMITED on Amazon.com under order number [REDACTED]. This was my complaint to Amazon Customer Service and Safety Team, I am writing to formally report a dangerous safety incident that occurred on April 23, 2026, while unpacking my SLEEP100 King Mattress (12 Inch 5-Zone Deep Sleep Firm Hybrid) purchased through Amazon. I followed the unpacking instructions provided on the box exactly as shown. While I was still in the process of opening the vacuum-sealed plastic, the mattress suddenly expanded with extreme and violent force with absolutely no warning. The impact was so powerful that it knocked over and completely shattered a heavy decorative lamp nearby, sending sharp shards across a wide area of my home. I was standing directly next to the mattress at the time. I am extremely fortunate not to have suffered serious physical injury. A large TV and a glass large table were located approximately one meter away. This incident was genuinely terrifying. After they contacted me, after they offered to pay for the broken lamp and I ask for a copy of the official report of the item to avoid future buyers of such a dangerous situation that can caused extensive damage to health or life. They unfortunately, have not provide it. I am afraid of the incident happening again so I am not signing until they officially report and investigate the incident.
