The product, in the report: Olee Sleep 13-inch hybrid gel memory foam mattress with pocket springs. Queen size mattress used for normal household sleeping. White and gray fabric cover. Purchased in 2021 through Amazon. Mattress is approximately 13 inches thick and was sold compressed in a box. Fiberglass fibers are protruding from the seams and fabric.

I discovered shiny, hair-thin fibers protruding from the seams and surface of my mattress. The mattress is an Olee Sleep 13-inch hybrid gel memory foam mattress purchased in 2021. The fibers appear to be fiberglass escaping from the internal fire-retardant layer.

The mattress is used for normal household sleeping. It is located in a bedroom and has been used by adults and a child.

The fibers are visibly coming out of the mattress and pose a health and contamination risk, including potential skin, eye, and respiratory irritation. Once this was discovered, we immediately stopped using the mattress and isolated it.

No serious injuries have been confirmed, but there is concern for possible exposure due to fiberglass fibers escaping into the sleeping environment, especially with a child in the home.
