I have A living spaces mattress that was financed through their [REDACTED] credit card. the date of manufacture is 2018. There was a zipper on the mattress and I had a stain on the cover so I removed the case and wash and dried it. While putting it in the dryer I noticed it had cotton batting in the sides which made me think it may shrink so I [REDACTED] about the cover and there were tons of people saying not to take the cover off, I have exposed myself and family unknowingly to fiberglass.I have a hazardous waste company who is coming to clean my house and remove the bedding and anything affected tomorrow which gave a start quote of $4600 plus I have to replace my mattress many clothing items depending on what is damaged. We are only at the beginning of this so I don’t know what all the costs will be. Can you help? I have photos of the tags not mentioning no to be removed or fiberglass.
