  1. No one hurt

Made Aug 29, 2026, sent to the company Sep 3, 2026, published by CPSC Sep 18, 2026

The product, in the report: Classic Brands model 410167-1150, manufactured June 6, 2019. Cool Gel 14 In Mattress

Ive had this mattress for about 4/5 yrs now Classic Brands model 410167-1150, manufactured June 6, 2019. As i was washing the sheets and the comforter, i noticed a zipper on the back that i could unzip and thought i could possibly wash this for the one stain i had on it. I noticed the Fiberglass right away, The fiberglass was spread on to our clothes and all over the room. Thank god i didnt wash it and threw about 700 dollars worth of bedding pillows away. I noticed that my chest has become quite tight and i decided to vaccuum, dust and spray everything i could down. I also used a shark hepa filter tonight on high to get rid of all particles. I dont see anywhere on the tags, where it claims to have Fiberglass and i also notice no warning not to unzip the mattress as per there might be fiberglass underneath. This mattress is in the guest bedroom and we use it for my mother when she visits, which will be in 2 weeks time. I wanted to report this incident as i think there shouldnt be access to underneath the cove
