The product, in the report: King mattress by AceSleep Info from Acesleeps.com: Just Right Designs Made A Better Mattress 1. Luxury Cool & Soft Mattress Cover Cool movable and washable mattress cover made of fabric that is cool to the touch, regulates heat at an ideal temperature all night long, even on those 90 degrees Fahrenheit nights. It is anti-pilling, anti-bacteria and mites. OeKo-TEX Certified. 2. Fireproof Barrier The Fireproof layer is made of the same fabric used in bulletproof vests, it does not contain any Glass Fiber or flame-retardant chemical additives. CFR1633 certified to protect against fire. 3. Open Cell Memory Foam 2.5” The Open-cell Gel Memory Foam is proved to sleep 25% cooler than traditional petroleum-based polyurethane. 4. Bamboo Memory Foam 2” Bamboo charcoal eliminates odors, absorbs excess moisture(if you live in Louisiana or Hawaii, definitely give this mattress a shot), regulates temperature, and is an excellent choice for people with allergies. 5. Gel Infused Memory Foam 1.5” Gel memory foam wicks away heat, keeping you cool throughout the night. Adding gel microbeads to memory foam increases the density of the memory foam as well, creating a surface that’s soft, yet firm. You won’t experience that hot, sinking feeling. 6. Durable High Dense Base 6” The high-density core base support foam keeps the mattress from deformation, collapse, and provides unparalleled support during the night.

They specifically advertise that their mattress does not contain fiberglass but they do. It got all over my home and had to pay for remediation. I purchased an AceSleep King Mattress on 7/9/2020 (Order number [REDACTED]). I purchased this specific mattress because I was looking for a mattress that did not contain fiberglass as a material in the fire retardant layer. This company plainly advertises that their mattresses do not contain any fiberglass. In December of 2020, I removed the outer cover of the mattress which they also claim is removable and washable, only to quickly find out that they do in fact use fiberglass in the mattress. The fiberglass (tiny lightweight strands, very difficult to see without a flashlight) under the outer cover quickly got in the air and spread throughout the room and the entire house. Fiberglass is a contaminant/irritant and can cause health problems including issues with the respiratory system, so naturally I was worried since I was breathing it in. I immediately contacted the company via email and corresponded with “[REDACTED]”. She was assuring me that the mattress does not contain fiberglass. I ordered a test kit to test for fiberglass and sent to to a lab for analysis. It came back confirming that it was in fact fiberglass. I let [REDACTED] know about this and she said that they were going to send a sample of their own to a lab and test it for themselves. I have not heard back since then, and I do not know if they even sent the sample to a lab. [REDACTED] agreed to pay “room cleaning fee” if their test came back positive for fiberglass. I replied back stating that I would need to be reimbursed for all costs incurred due to this issue. I have not heard back.
