  1. No one hurt

Made Apr 9, 2018, sent to the company Jul 27, 2018, published by CPSC Aug 17, 2018

The product, in the report: Infant swaddle blanket, chevron gray

I swaddled my son using the SwaddleMe LoveSack Level 3. My husband heard my son moving furiously in his bassinet and checked on him. He found our son with the arm flaps up around his neck, still secured by the Velcro, strangling him. Fortunately, he was able to get him out in time to prevent injury. Had he not been in a bassinet at our bedside with my husband in the room, my baby would have been severely injured or killed. This product needs to be recalled.

  2. No one hurt

Made Jun 23, 2013, sent to the company Jul 1, 2013, published by CPSC Jul 23, 2013

The product, in the report: Summer Infant Swaddle Me wrap

We swaddled our baby using the Summer Infant Swaddle Me wrap and heard a choking sound coming from her room. Her arms had broke through the bottom of the arm wraps and she had lifted her arms over her head causing the upper fabric to become tightly wrapped around her neck. No obvious injury occurred as we quickly unwrapped her and discontinued use of the swaddle following this incident.
