The product, in the report: SNOO The snoo smart sleeper

The snoo swaddle strap rode up and ended up around babies neck.

I just wanted to clarify, I do have photos of the incident but its not of my child, so I can provide an edited photo to remove the face, its from a snoo group that I am in, I did tell them to make a report of their own but I am not sure if they will, and with so many experiencing the same thing I felt this definitely needed to be brought to someone’s attention. There were several other caregivers that said the same thing had happened to their infants while sleeping in the snoo. The strap that is inside the swaddle that wraps around baby some how is maneuvered up over their arms and ends up around their necks. There were dozens of people saying that it happened to them as well, and then offering unsafe advice on how to prevent it like double swaddling. I am very concerned that this is a normal occurrence that could ultimately end up resulting in an infants death. This is why straps are not allowed in the sleep space, we know that it’s a strangulation risk, and this proves that the strap in the snoo is no different. How does this product meet astm standards with the strap, since regulations do not allow straps in a sleep space? Thank you for your time.
