  1. No one hurt

Made Apr 18, 2026, sent to the company Apr 22, 2026, published by CPSC May 6, 2026

The product, in the report: SleepingBaby Zipadee-Zip sleep sack in the color “balanced beige” and size “small, 4-8 months”

My husband went to get our 4-month-old baby out of her crib after a nap and found two small pieces of fabric near her that appeared to have somehow come off of her Zipadee-Zip sleep sack. This item was newly purchased off of Amazon and had been washed prior to use. We were concerned that she could have possibly choked on or ingested these pieces of fabric and have serious concerns about the safety of this product going forward.

The product, in the report: Zipadee zip transitional swaddle x small size Classic lavender.

Baby was using a x-small zipadee zip transitional swaddle to sleep. She was wearing a diaper and a thin long sleeved shirt underneath. Baby is 9lbs 9oz and 22 inches long. So well within the limits for that size.. She was placed on her back asleep into her bassinett. Whenever she would raise her arms up next to her head the fabric from the chest area would come up and cover her mouth and nose entirely. No injuries happened as I noticed before going to bed and was able to change products for sleep. Im concerned this product may be a suffocation risk since even with correctly sized the fabric is able to come up and cover the face.

  3. No one hurt

Made Nov 12, 2024, sent to the company Nov 15, 2024, published by CPSC Dec 2, 2024

The product, in the report: EverSoft Bamboo Zipadee-Zip Swaddle Transition. Sleeping Baby Inc Dusty Rose/M 6-12 months (18-26 lbs, 29-33 inches) sleep sack

I am sharing a concern about the Sleeping Baby Inc Zippadee Zip sleep sack. The sleep sack managed to cover my babys entire head as she slept. I reached out to the company who confirmed she was in the right size and took no other action than offering me a free snuggle strap (which is not intended for babies over 6 months old-my baby is 9 months old). They said the sleep sack covered her head due to her rolling around, but these sleep sacks are marketed as safe for rolling babies. I know these sleep sacks are extremely popular, I personally felt they were very safe, and it greatly concerns me that they are not investigating how this could happen any further. I suspect this issue may be due to their new bamboo material having more stretch, but this requires a thorough investigation by them. I am deeply concerned how cavalier this company is being about an issue with potentially horrific consequences.
