The product, in the report: I purchased this 100% cotton WHITE blanket at Home Goods store in Edgewater Nj several months ago. THE ADDRESS FOR THE STORE WAS [REDACTED]---now this store has moved to a new location in Egewater Nj 07020....This one had a transparent bag with a zipper on its corners and the black labels of Lauren Ralph Lauren and it is made in India.... This blanket has a very bad odor. At the beginning I thought it was just because it needed to be washed due to the odor that sometimes brand new items have ,but the odor persists even after four washes with warm water and baking soda and tide detergents. It makes me nauseated and it is intoxicating to have to inhale its odors. I am keeping it for the sake of having it inspected from anyone that cares to remove this product out of our market. Please inspect all the other products that this Home goods sells ,because I have reported in the past their paper napkins that smell like amonia and other stuff. Please intervene to have safe items sold in the USA market and globally with a production and an expiration date on them. Also make sure that these items have a bar code with numbers on it too and with serial numbers and model numbers clearly typed in there.
