The product, in the report: NuRoo Swaddler is a baby swaddler. The baby is placed inside this blanket like device and velcro is used to secure it snugly, so the baby feels secure and can sleep. Our NuRoo Swaddler is cream colored and I believe it was purchased at Babies R Us.
My daughter, who is 3.5 months old, was swaddled in the NuRoo swaddler. She is approximately 25 inches long, and the swaddler was on its largest setting, appropriate (according to the product instructions) for a 25 inch infant.
When I checked on her in the middle of the night because I heard her rustling, she had worked her way out of the swaddler and somehow some of the fabric from the swaddler was over her face.
I lifted her up and removed the swaddle and she was not injured. Obviously, though, fabric covering the face of an infant is quite dangerous and the outcome could have been different if I had not heard her and checked on her promptly.
