The product, in the report: Kyte sleep bag swaddlers. They are sold in one size only (I believe XS). The incident I previously described occurred in the midnight black color, but all of my kyte sleep bag swaddles are made the same, regardless of color. It’s purpose is to be able to use a sleep bag with the swaddle attachment for newborns in the first 2 months and once a newborn can no longer be swaddled, then you can remove the swaddle attachment and use the sleep bag. It’s like a 2-in-1 product.
I purchased the Kyte sleep bag swaddlers for my newborn. We did not experience issues until she was just shy of 4 weeks old. We put the swaddle on her in accordance with Kyte’s directions and my newborn managed to move her arm in a way that escaped part of the swaddle and her arm was exposed on the bottom. The swaddle was still over both arms, but since her one arm was sticking out of the bottom of the swaddle attachment, she was able to move her arm upwards and as a result, it shifted the swaddle attachment up, toward her face. I caught it before the swaddle attachment actually covered her face. There were no injuries.
