The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Aden + Anais Cotton Muslin Light Sleep Sack 1.0 TOG Pattern: Around the World Size 12-18 months https://www.adenandanais.com/cotton-muslin-light-sleeping-bag-1-0-tog-around-the-world-cl-slpb-around

I would like to report the Aden + Anais Cotton Muslin Light Sleep Sack. I believe it is a dangerous item for babies.

The zipper is flimsy and broke while our baby was wearing the sleeping bag. The zipper splits open and will not stay closed. This effectively turns the sleeping bag into a loose blanket, which can pose a suffocation hazard.

I am happy to mail you the defective blanket. I reported this problem to the company.

This is the link for the product on the Aden + Anais website, where you can see negative reviews re. the faulty zipper:
