The product, in the report: We purchased a box of six ZeroWater replacement filters from Amazon in 2021. We have used filters before and are familiar with the taste and the length of their typical effectiveness, both by taste and using a digital PPM meter that comes with the pitcher. Three filters from the box of six tested with high PPMs very quickly, and there was a sour taste in the water even before that time. We have reported this to the company. We discarded the first two filters we used but kept the third (as well as the remaining three unused filters) for analysis if needed.
Water filters for a ZeroWater pitcher were going bad quickly, and left a sour taste in the water after filtration. We have used this filter for some time and this is the first incidence of this type of malfunction.
