The UPC bar code has these number s and letters on it X002XRX84J EPA Est No. 95301-CHN-1 MADE IN CHINA tel# 888-352-3558 it has a warning Cancer and reproductive harm email ; [REDACTED] --------On April 15th 2023 I PURCHASED A WATER PITCHER WITH A FILTER ON ITS TOP FROM AMAZON.COM..I FOLLOWED ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS ON PREWASHING THIS ITEM AND ITS FILETRS AND SET IT UP THE CORRECT AWAY...IT TURNED OUT THAT AFTER I RECEIVED THIS ITEM AND USED IT FOR A FEW DAYS FROM AROUND APRIL 22TH OF 2023 TILL APRIL 27TH OF 2023 THE WATER COMING OUT OF THIS PITCHER CAUSED ME TO HEAVE PAINFUL HEAVINESS ON MY CHEST ON MY LEFT SIDE IS IF I WAS GETTING A HEART ATTACK AND PAINFUL LYMPHNODES UNDER MY LEFT AND RIGHT ARMS.I DISCONTINUED USING IT AND ASKED FDA ON WHERE TO REPORT IT AND THEY ADVISED ME TO CONSUMERS SAFETY PRODUCTS COMMISSION. I CALLED AMAZON TODAY ON 04-27-2023 AMD REPORTED THE ISSUES WITH THIS WATER FILTER TO THEM AMD ALSO I TOLD THEM TO CONTACT THE SELLER AS WELL,BECAUSE IT IS TOO DANGEROUS TO SELL THIS PRODUCT.I ALSO LEFT A BAD REVIEW IN AMAZON IN REGARDS TO THE ISSUES FOR THIS PRODUCT AS WELL. I also called the manufacturer at 1-888-352--3558 today 04-27-23 as well and I told them what happened they were thinking that it was an allergy, but I work in health care and the signs and symptoms that I had were of a toxic substance not of an allergen ..and NO I am not allergic to anything A LOT OF THE STUFF THAT AMAZON IS SELLING IS NOT GOOD FOR CONSUMPTION THEY NEED TO BUILD A TEAM OF PEOPLE THAT QUALITY CHECK THE PRODUCTS, BEFORE THEY SELL THEM TO US AS CONSUMERS AND SO ARE [REDACTED] AND MANY OTHERS TOO.PLEASE INSPECT THIS PRODUCT AND MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR RULES TO ENFORCE THE QUALITY CHECKS ON THESE PRODUCTS AS WELL...At the information that we give down here at your website allow for us to also add other countries in the world--THANK YOU!
