The product, in the report: This product is marketed as, and was used as, a filter to prevent propane contaminants from reaching and thus damaging a downstream heater.
I installed the product according to manufacturers instructions and within a few ours my RV exploded on my driveway. I submitted a review that I believed went to the manufacturer. After getting no response, I submitted a review, with pictures, to Amazon. After initially being rejected, I see my review was finally posted. However, the product remains on the market. This is an absolute safety problem and under very slightly different circumstances would have caused death or much worse property damage. The RV is a total loss, and the ensuing fire could have caused the heater’s propane tank and the RV’s main propane tank to explode. I was very lucky to be able to extinguish the fire myself, although the fire department saw a few remaining hot spots with their equipment, after arriving approximately 15 min later. This could have caused concussion damage to my home, or easily spread the RV fire to the home. Please remove this from the marketplace immediately before someone dies.
