The product, in the report: Furnace Filter
This caller normally turns his furnace off at night then relights the pilot and warms his house in the morning with never an issue.
Around October 21, 2022 he woke up turned the gas on and proceeded to light the pilot on his furnace, however that morning the furnace filter caught fire, and made 1, pop noises while he beat the flames out with the gloves he had been wearing. He removed the filter then took it to the local fire department but they couldn’t tell him anything about it.
He took it to the neighborhood hardware store ([REDACTED]) where they replaced it with a new filter made in the USA then advised him that they will keep it there should he need information or the filter itself.
