The product, in the report: Filterbaby Skincare Faucet Filter 2.0, Color: blue This is a screw on faucet filter designed for bathroom sinks
I am reporting Filterbaby. I have a Filterbaby Skincare Water Filter 2.0 for my bathroom sink. I noticed that over time, colorful gunk has built up in between the clear plastic layers in the front of the device. Water is able to seep in and be trapped. I contacted customer service, whom identified it as mold initially instructed me to clean it, as they did not realize it was inaccessible. Once I reiterated that it’s between the clear plastic that cannot be separated, I was told that visible mold build up that can never be cleaned is normal and to continue using the device. I am not going to wash my face with faucet water that continually comes into contact with visible mold. This is a dangerous product that the manufacturer has refused to replace despite their policy on their website that they will replace defective products.
