I purchased a mirror from Amazon.com The mirror and frame failed and crashed onto my floor from 7 feet high. If a child or animal had been under this, they would have suffered serious injury. I contacted Amazon help desk and explained the situation of my purchasing an unsafe product with a manufacturing defect. The representative was unwilling to provide any relief (taking the product off of their website or even a refund). Amazon is aware that this is a safety hazard and has displayed no level of care for this issue. Their wanton disregard for the safety of the products they sell rises to the level of criminal negligence.
