On 12/7/2022 I placed an order for the Bella Home Deluxe 71” Full-Length Mirror and Swivel Shelving Unit from Houzz.com https://www.houzz.com/products/bella-home-deluxe-71-full-length-mirror-and-swivel-shelving-unit-white-prvw-vr~39785432?lid=26117667

I routinely order home furnishings and furniture from online stores. I received the package on 12/12. It was a heavy package so I moved it into my bedroom to assemble the mirror in the room it was going to be in. When I opened the package I noticed the item was packed in packing sheets not like any I had seen before. These sheets were thin and had a woven look to them but they were shedding fibers. These fibers spread everywhere but I figured I would just vacuum them up at the end of the assembly process. I became concerned when these fibers got on my skin causing extreme itch. I took the packing material outside but I still keep finding these strands in my bedroom even after cleaning several time. When I shone light on the fibers they were reflective which made me think of fiberglass. I was in disbelief that fiberglass would be sent to me but due to the potential health concerns and the ongoing itchiness, I decided to get a piece of the packing material tested for peace of mind. The results of the assay tested positive for fiberglass. The item is still in my house. I’m afraid to move it for fear of getting more strands in the air.
