The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. First aid

Made Dec 11, 2021, sent to the company Dec 14, 2021, published by CPSC Dec 29, 2021

The product, in the report: Walnut & Brass models of Amazon Basics rectangular wall mirror. 24x x 36 peaked trim model. Still listed as Amazon’s Choice #4 of wall mounted mirrors in spite of online reviews and direct reports with photos and phone call. Others have also reported.

Amazon Basics rectangular wall mirrors in multiple frame materials are crashing down even after professional installation. Top of walnut frame ripped off. Brass frame ripped out hours after being hung on professionally installed screws that matched the brackets. Back of mirror is thin cardboard and a sheet of super thin paper with no brackets to hold in heavy glass. I have many photos. Cut hand cleaning. It would have been serious injury if people or pets were underneath. Multiple reviewers claim the same.
