How badly anyone was hurt

  • No one hurt 1 CPSC: Incident, No Injury

As each report says it, in short words; CPSC’s own words are under each.

The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

Made Aug 30, 2019, sent to the company Sep 13, 2019, published by CPSC Sep 27, 2019

The product, in the report: Mirror 41” x 41” weighing 42 lbs.

Approximately 10 months after purchasing a large mirror, the small 1/4” screws pulled out of the MDF board causing the hanger bracket to fail and a 42 lb. mirror fell to floor. Had a person, especially a child, been underneath the mirror when it fell he/she could have been seriously injured or killed.

A short 1/4” screw, especially in MDF board, is obviously not strong enough to hold up a 42 lb. mirror. The fact that the mirror will shatter when it falls adds to the danger of this item.
