    The product, in the report: Garden Treasures 45-in H x 22-in D x 22-in W Black Steel Chiminea Item #: 291623 | Model #: SRCH06D http://www.lowes.com/pd_291623-63094-SRCH06D_0__?productId=4764069

I purchased an outdoor fireplace manufactured by Garden treasures. It was the Garden Treasures Living Cast Iron Chiminea. During assembly the leg became [de]tached because it was only spot welded in 3 points. I was concerned that had I assembled and used the product the legs could have become detached during use. This is especially a concern with this model since it is top heavy. Once the spot weld detach, the unit could easily fall over.

Quite dangerous scenario and very glad the design failure presented itself during assembly. I returned the product to Lowes and informed them of the product defect as well.

Garden Treasures 11000 BTU Tabletop Liquid Propane Patio Heater Item #: 48221 I Model #: HPS-C-PC I bought one of these from Lowes and after several months it quit.

I called three different times 888-775-1330 and the first time, they had me disassemble the top portion to expose the pilot and use compressed air to blow it out.

The next day they had me disassemble it and expose the copper tube & orfice and blow them out.

When I lit it, flames came out the lower section of the burner box at the top of the extension tube.

I called a third time and the tech started into another fiasco and I told him, hell this is a relative new unit and I don’t want to be doing a bench repair on a product you should be fixing or standing behind.

I bet there is a recall on it or there should be.

When I worked on it the third time I discovered that there was a main burner tube connection that apparently is a slip fit and was most of the way out.

This is not safe and I refuse to go another hour on it.

Lowes should not be selling these unless they take responsibility.

My unit is serial number 20110710674 Model HPS-C-PC.

Your website had one purchaser state: “it just shut down all gas went off including the pilot light. Thinking it may be a problem with the mechanism I called Lowes, the manager told me it may be a bad thermo-coupler, to bring it in for an exchange. I did. The new one has the exact same issue! I called the support number on the instruction/warantee book they are AWESOME by the way. Come to find out, this is a known issue with these heaters!

NOW WHY IS IT THAT LOWES SELLS THIS AND HAS “QUESTIONS PROBLEMS MISSING PARTS ETC. CALL 1-888-775-1330”?

Maybe I should have done what that guy did and call Lowes, but I did not; I invested three days of my life trying to fix a propane driven appliance that could become a bomb. What do you want to do about this or should I turn this over to a consumer regulatory body for a safety check?

The product, in the report: Garden Treasures 39” FirePit item #0085452 model #SRFP109B made in China

Garden Treasures 39” firepit #0085452 - we were attaching the LEG SUPPORT ASSEMBLY to the legs and the welds holding the support together came apart. This welded piece is the support for the entire firepit. If the welds came apart during use, the legs holding the pit in the air would not be braced and could fall and cause serious injury and/or burn the surface it is sitting on. LEG SUPPORT ASSEMBLY consists of 4 pieces and is welded together at each connection.
